This is a 1 year, part time diploma course with , 2 contact workshops , field work , action research project, intermittent online sessions - for in-depth training in using the art forms for therapy and study of mind . The student is provided with a comprehensive ABT kit as part of the course.

Arts-Based Therapy (ABT) is an integrated use of different art forms like music, drama, movement, dance, poetry, imagery, visual art, and storytelling to bring about healing, growth, and change and to achieve individualised goals in a therapeutic setting.
The basis of ABT lies in the deep-seated wisdom of Indian mind studies, Eastern psychology, Philosophy, and neuroscientific research which makes ABT a useful and meaningful therapeutic practice that caters well to the Indian population.

Who teaches ABT?

Neha Patel and Nabhiraj Mehta are the course faculty for the diploma program 
WORLD CENTRE FOR CREATIVE LEARNING FOUNDATION (WCCLF) has created and developed the ABT course with the intention of systematically applying the art forms for therapy . The course faculty has undergone extensive in-depth training from WCCLF.

: mental health issues including clinical disorders such as anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances,

Arts-Based Therapy (ABT) is not only an effective therapeutic practice on its own, but it also helps to facilitate deeper healing when used in conjunction with other modalities of therapy.It provides an additional medium for individuals to acknowledge and express their emotions in a non-threatening space. Arts-Based Therapy can be used and adapted to several different settings with different population groups.
