Educational Counselling
The first step of any educational intervention is counselling of the child. We provide a comprehensive counselling session for the child as well as the parents to decide what kind of educational service is required for him or her. We also discuss child’s option regarding school, remedial services, vocational training and future prospects of the choices made.
Remedial Teaching
We provide remedial teaching for children with learning disabilities, borderline intellectual disability and ADHD. Remedial teaching helps children to improve their core academic skills – reading, writing, spellings, arithmetics and increase their educational performance.
Pre-academic Skills
This is a special program for pre-schoolers. Pre-academic skills are part of cognitive development. Young children who develop these skills have better chances of succeeding later on at school and carry the skills with them as they grow older.
Study skills and academic enhancement
Study skills are the skills that students need to learn efficiently. They are an important set of transferable life skills.Study skills are an array of skills which tackle the process of organizing and taking in new information, retaining information, time management or dealing with assessments. Phonics
Phonics is a method for teaching reading and writing of the English language by developing learners' phonemic awareness—the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate sounds of letters. We provide traditional phonics training as well as Jolly Phonics which is a fun, child centric and multisensory method of developing phonic skills.
Happy Handwriting
Although computers and smartphones have taken over our lives handwriting is still an important and relevant life skill. Happy Handwriting is our endeavour to work with children to initiate their writing journey through different methods or improve their handwriting at later academic stages. As teachers, we observe that number students falter in Marathi in schools. This could be because of poor understanding of language basics at early academic stages, language or environmental barriers. Afterall we stay in Maharashtra and whether we belong to a Maharashtrian household or not knowledge of our state language would enrich children linguistically and enhance their interest in Indian languages and literature. We use a little different approach to address this problem and try to enhance Marathi literacy among school going children
