ChildRaise Activities 2026

Moment, Milestone & Meaning Impact 2025-26

June - 2026

ChildRaise supports Navya's Brain Surgery

ChildRaise understands the complexity of epilepsy, which is the most common neurological disorder. Many times only the anti-epilepsy medicines (AEMs) or anti-seizure medicines (ASMs) cannot control the seizures.
In situations like this, brain surgery is the option Navya's family had to choose. However, the decision is not easy.
The patient must undergo several tests including a neuropsychological assessment which helps decide if the patient is the right candidate to proceed with the surgery.
However, financing the surgery is often impossible for the family considering the burden of epilepsy up to this point. Here, ChildRaise plays a significant role of funding the surgery. ChildRaise supported Navya's brain surgery, giving her a second lease on life and the chance for a seizure free future.

Support for Shanti's Physio Therapy

ChildRaise continues to fund Shanti's physiotherapy because we realize that spine surgery, followed by physiotherapy and rehabilitation, is of paramount importance.
Else, there is no point in performing the surgery. We continue to guide, counsel and motivate Shanti so that she can stand on her own two feet.

Helping Build the Future

ChildRaise donated to Samaaveshi Pathshala to build an Inclusive Learning Resource Centre in a location like Kashele, Karjat. This is a significant step toward making education and developmental resources more accessible to children in that community.

Building dedicated physical infrastructure is often the foundation for creating a safe, welcoming, and specialized environment where students with diverse learning needs can thrive.Projects like these are vital for promoting inclusive education, ensuring that resources are available to children who might otherwise face barriers to traditional schooling.
Support of this nature directly impacts the quality of life and future opportunities for the children served by the centre.

ReachOut 2026 was a beautiful celebration of inclusion, joy, and togetherness. Held on April 15 at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz West, Mumbai, the event brought together special individuals, caregivers, and families for a day filled with yoga, music, dance, creativity, and meaningful parent sessions. This year’s camp was lovingly dedicated to Girish, who inspired his sister, Rekha Balgi, to form Reach Out. His presence was felt in the spirit of togetherness that surrounded the day. Kavita Shanbhag, Founder :ChildRaise Trust was honoured to be part of this celebration and share her insights with the participants.
